JAMMU, Mar 30: Bus-Stand police today arrested a thief along with stolen cash.
According to police, a tea stall owner namely Pashori Lal, son of Bali Ram, a resident of Dogra Hall Jammu lodged a complaint with police station Bus Stand that some unidentified burglars barged into his shop and decamped with Rs 2000 cash.
After registering a case under FIR number 17/14 under Section 457/380 of RPC at police station Bus Stand and manhunt was launched to nab the thieves.
During the course of investigation, police picked up Mohammad Arif son of Mohammad Sharif, a resident of Begli Tehsil Gandoh for questioning.
During questioning, the accused broke down and accepted his involvement in the crime.
The accused was arrested and further investigation into the case is going on.
The arrest was made by SHO police station Bus-Stand Jatinder Singh Sambyal.
