Thief arrested with clue of tattoos on hands, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, Nov 2: Miran Sahib Police arrested a thief with a clue of tattoos on his hands and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged at Police Station Miran Sahib by a person namely Romit Choudhary, son of Thoru Ram of Miran Sahib regarding theft of some mobile phones, cash and other electronic items from his shop “Jai Laxmi Enterprises” located at Main Bazaar Miran Sahib.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 144/2022 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq and led by PSI Mahroof Ahmed was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Surinder Singh and SP Headquarter Ramnish Gupta.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested the accused with the help of two tattoos on his hands.
The arrested person was identified as Parshotam Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of Brij Nagar Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
On his disclosure, 6 stolen android phones, laptop and Rs 45,900 cash were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
