Theft cases worked out, stolen vehicles recovered

JAMMU, Jan 16: Talab Tillo Police worked out theft cases with the recovery of stolen vehicles.
As per police sources, two written complaints were lodged at Police Post Talab Tillo by complainants namely Kamal Singh, son of Hakam Singh of Sanai Bhaderwah, at present Paloura Jammu and Ankush Badyal, son of Manhor Lal of Kabir Colony Talab Tillo regarding theft of their vehicles.
Acting over the complaints, cases under FIR Numbers 02/2022 and 03/22 under Sections 379 IPC were registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Post Talab Tillo led by PSI Rajesh Kumar was constituted under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma.
The team did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV cameras footages of the area finally rounded up three suspects including two juvenile suspects in case FIR Number 02/2022 and one suspect namely Surinder Kumar, son of Raj Kumar of Punjab in case FIR Number 03/2022.
During questioning, all the suspects confessed their involvement in the above cases. Two juveniles were detained and Surinder Kumar was arrested accordingly. On their disclosure, five stolen vehicles were recovered.
Further questioning of the detained and arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
