Theft case worked out; stolen mobiles, accessories recovered

UDHAMPUR, Dec 24: Udhampur Police today worked out a theft case under the jurisdiction of Police Station Chenani and arrested six accused involved in the case besides affecting seizure of the stolen items.
The theft had taken place in the shop of Sunil Sharma, son of Bimal Kumar of Sudhmahadev, Chenani.
Following a complaint in this regard, a special Police team under the supervision of SDPO Chenani Chanderjeet Singh conducted raids in different suspected locations and apprehended the suspect. During the sustained interrogation, one of the suspect broke down and confessed the commission of the offence.
On his disclosure, his other five associates involved in the case were also arrested by the Police. The identity of the accused was established as Altaf Hussain son of Mohd Chandi, Mustak Ahmed son of Abdul Aziz, Abdul Norani son of Mohd Qusim, Talib Hussain son of Raj Ali, Wahid Hussain son of Bashir Ahmed and Mohd Kabir son of Mohd Qusim, all of them resident of Sudhamadev.
26 Mobiles phones along with Mobile accessories of worth Rs 80,000/ were recovered from their possession. With the arrest of these burglars, police succeeded in solving the said theft case.
