Theft case solved, 4 bikes recovered

POONCH, Mar 27: The Police has solved a theft case in Surankote, by arresting a person and making recovery of four stolen bikes from his possession.
A police spokesman said that case FIR No. 40/2024 U/S. 379 IPC was registered at PS Surankote in which some unknown person has stolen the motorcycle.
Acting over the FIR, Police in Surankote started the investigation and worked out the said theft case, under the supervision of SSP Poonch Jugal Manhas, Addl SP Mushim Ahmed and under close supervision of DySP Hamid Ali Banday.
The team led by SHO Surankote Inspr Mukhtiar Ali assisted by ASI Sajjad Shah with use of physical and technical surveillance arrested the accused Mohd Ashaq, son of Mohd Aslam, resident of Kalaban, in Mendhar, who upon sustained questioning confessed his involvement in the instant case. Upon his disclosure four bikes were recovered from his possession.
