JAMMU, Dec 21: Thieves made vain attempt in a house at Mohinder Nagar area late tonight.
As per police sources, some thieves barged into the house of Ravi Gupta, son of Late Babu Ram Gupta, a resident of House Number 10, Mohinder Nagar.
When the thieves were trying to decamp with the stolen items by break-open the locks of lockers, the family members reached the house, which forced the thieves to escape from the spot leaving behind the stolen articles.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and a case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station.
