JAMMU, Feb 12: In an effort to reach out to the marginalized sections of the society and to alleviate the ongoing winter-related hardship of underprivileged children, ‘THE – SARA’ a registered non-governmental organization under its ‘Mission Compassion’, organized the ‘Share the Warmth’ initiative.
Under the initiative, team ‘THE – SARA’ led by Gurjeet Kour Ghuman distributed woolen sweaters among 30 underprivileged children in Ward No. 70, Sector F, Sainik Colony, Jammu.
On this occasion, Mohalla Committee Members Vishav Dev Sharma, Satpal Sharma, Sandeep Bhatti and volunteers at ‘THE – SARA’ including Nalin Sharma, Paritosh Sharma and Aryan Gupta were also present. Mohalla Committee Members appreciated the humane effort of ‘THE – SARA’.
It is pertinent to mention here that in every winter season, ‘THE – SARA’ under its ‘Share the Warmth’ initiative provides much-needed relief to the underprivileged by distributing blankets and woolens.
