‘The SARA’ adopts militancy victim school going children

JAMMU, Dec 25: NGO ‘The SARA’ through its ‘A to Z’ initiative under ‘Mission Compassion’ has adopted three school going children of late Narayan Dutt Sharma of village Kakryal, Katra, a truck driver killed by terrorists this year.
President of ‘The SARA’, Gurjeet Kour Ghuman handed over the scholarship cheques, certificates, school bags, notebooks and stationery to the children in the presence of Ranjit Singh Sambyal, SSP Railway Katra.
Under the initiative, ‘The Sara’ shall be mentoring and giving monthly scholarship to the children so as to cover their education fees and other educational expenses.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Railways Katra, Ranjit Singh Sambyal hailed the humane efforts of the NGO.
Dr Raminder Jit Singh, Director of ‘The SARA’ said his NGO is privileged to do a bit for the unfortunate children who are the victims of terrorism.
He also said that ‘The SARA’ will endeavour to rebuild their broken life through educational support.
