Buying anything for themselves, hardly,

While fulfilling each and every need of their families

How cheerful he gets just by getting wishes from kids at evening

Back at home from long hours of work from office

Then keeping his professional life aside

Spending evening hours with kids and wife

Handling every issue by himself

Without letting any effect on his loved ones

I can proudly say, you are my dad

Race of Life

Slow beginnings but steady efforts

Putting my best with each opportunity

As opportunities come and go

But I am trying to catch it by putting my best foot forward

If I lost it , definitely I am not going to lose my self confidence

But if it's a win

Then I am not going to

Let my ego

Become the fullstop in my growth

Moving ahead by my will and faith in God

Facing the challenges and hurdles in this race of life.

Slowly and steadily crossing the paths one after one

I am going to make my life worth living until finish line

Niha Raina

One more voice lost

In the space where life and death collide,

A voice from the living speaks,

Heavy with complaints,

About a world that never fits.

Time slips through fingers,

Family feels distant,

Dreams fade before they can even bloom.

The man is weary and drained,

Drained by a life that always asks for more.

When the dead man,

still in the silence of his final rest,

Finally spoke "I was you once''.

I had a chance to hold my breath,

So taste the fullness of thw world,

But I wassted it on fear.

On waiting... On waiting foa better moment,

Alas ! That never came.

Now I see nothing

Nothing but the weight of what I didn't do.

The mountains I never clibed,

The words I never spoke,

What is Death

Is it the shadow of regret that follow,

When the living refuses to live?

"I have no more time'' he said,

But you, You can still breathe,

You can still shape your story.

"So what at are you waiting for >''

The man now stood still,

For the truth touched him,

Like an aching song.. too late to be sung..

"Live now'' the dead man urged,

For once you are gone, there is only silence.

But in that very moment,

When the change almost retired his heart,

Life betrayed him !

The living man became dead,

And now he knows,

Regret is not a thing to fear,

But surely a thing to heed towards.

Its not a thing to heed towards.

Is not a memory from the past,

But a warning from the future,

Told too late to be heard.

Now, he is no longer alive to make amends,

To late to chase the dreams he denied,

He too is now a shadow in the wind.

One more voice lost, echoing in the silence,

Longing for a world,

That will never answer again.
