“The Grand” opens banquet, convention centre in Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 10: “The Grand”—a new banquet and convention center was opened today which marks the beginning of luxury banqueting, where all the facilities are at par with international standards.
“The Grand” is spread over 100,000 sq. ft. area with a majestic entrance to the central lobby area and heads towards two spacious banquet halls, Akbar and Jodha, each covering 8400 sq ft with an option to merge them into the only and Jammu’s biggest air conditioned hall of 22000 sq. ft, that can host up to 3000 guests. In addition there are lush green lawns on 15000 sq. ft. The interiors of the property are drawn from the architectural vernacular of Mughal era inspiring a sense of heritage, married with modern designs. To cater to smaller events “The Grand” has another hall named Birbal which is 3000 sq ft on the first floor with an added advantage of 10 very spacious rooms to hold small conferences and seminars too.

There is a bakery vertical unit housed in “The Grand” at Bahu Plaza market as “The Grand Bakery and Deli”—a blend of quality, authenticity, and excellence.
