BANGKOK, Dec 4: Thailand’s military leaders agree that the political situation is returning to normal after days of violent anti-government protests and they ruled out the possibility of a coup, the navy chief said on Wednesday.
‘Everyone agreed that the military forces will not take a leading role in this situation and there will be no coup as we believe the tension is easing and everything will be back to normal soon,’ Admiral Narong Pipathanasai told reporters after meeting his top military colleagues.
