Srinagar, May 22: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum today demanded that 5 years of service be included to ReTs and EVs besides migrant substitute teachers and adhoc teachers.
The Forum urged the Minister for Education to adjust the non-locals suitably in Jammu Division and Lecturers, Headmasters and Master be brought back to their localities.
The Forum also demanded regularization of contractual teachers as per Cabinet decision and removal of pay anomaly at an earliest.
The Forum held an emergency meeting at Srinagar under its chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani. The forum also appealed the Minister to make the adjustments of the recently promoted teachers and masters immediately in Jammu Province as students are suffering. The persons posted outside districts may be suitably adjusted so that the transfer policy is implemented.
