SRINAGAR, Dec 26: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has cancelled summon to Syed Naseem Geelani, son of hardline Hurriyat Conference (HC) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani, in connection with a terror funding case.
Syed Naseem was summoned by the investigation agency to appear before it on Tuesday at New Delhi as a witness in the case. The son of the HC chairman, who had reached Delhi to appear before the NIA, said he was informed that his summon has been cancelled.
However, no reason for cancellation of the summon was given, he said, adding that he was already in the national capital. (AGENCIES)
