UDHAMPUR, Mar 21: Udhampur Police have detained and lodged a hard-core terror associate under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).
The accused has been identified as Farooq Ahmed, son of Abdul Hamid, resident of Sadrota, Tehsil Lohai Malhar, District Kathua. He was involved in providing logistical support to terrorist groups and actively worked as a guide and facilitator for terrorist organizations.
According to Police sources, strong evidence and past records confirm his involvement in aiding and facilitating terrorist groups. In view of his activities, authorities have detained him under the Public Safety Act.
