Termination of doctors

Sir,
The decision of the Government to terminate the services of 200 doctors in the State is more than welcome. The move which has been widely hailed by the people in the State, will pave way for a robust health sector in the State.
The health sector in this State is not upto the mark as people living in rural areas do not have access to quality medicare. The cause of it being the dearth of doctors. The doctors, whether junior or senior hesitate to work in far flung areas of the State. Every doctor want to serve in an urban area. Those who are connected to bureaucracy or ministers do not move from prime postings for years together. Only  those who do not have Godfathers in Government are posted in rural areas.
The dearth of doctors further compounds the problem for these people. At present there are a good number of unemployed doctors in the State. They need to be appointed on permanent basis to overcome shortage. The Government should expedite the process of recruitment of doctors in various faculties.
With the exit of 200 doctors who had unnecessarily  kept posts blocked, it is expected health sector will be revamped.
Yours etc…
