Ten days long Sanskrit Shivar concludes

JAMMU, May 25: Ten days long Sanskrit Shivar concluded at Athroot Sewa Dham Self Help Group Jagti, Nagrota.
The Sanskrit Shivar was organized by Sanskrit Bharati, Jammu Kashmir, for the people of Jagti Township in which more than 150 people were imparted basic knowledge of Sanskrit and its pronunciation.
Justice (retd) GD Sharma was the chief guest in the concluding function who was accompanied by Dalip Chanderwanti, State Organizer, Purshotam Dubey, Treasurer Sanskrit Bharati, J&K and Anjali Radhu, Incharge, Athroot Sewa Dham Self Help Group Jagti, Nagrota.
Speaking at the function, Justice (retd) G D Sharma said that Sanskrit language is the basis of all languages through which our young generation can be attached to its roots.
Dalip Chanderwanti in his address highlighted the activities of Sanskrit Bharati, J&K in the promotion of Sanskrit language. He said they are organizing such kind of camp in the whole State so that more and more people can learn the language.
Later, justice (retd) GD Sharma also took a round of Athroot Sewa Dham Self Help Group Complex and appreciated the work undertaken by  Anjali Radhu for running this all women self help group working for women empowerment which included stitching, Kashmiri handicraft, grinding and packaging of spices and also literary programmes for the ladies working there.
