POONCH, July 28: Ten days educational-cum-motivational tour to Mumbai and Pune, organized by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Force (Romeo) concluded today, in which 26 students belonging to Gujjar and Bakerwal community hailing from remote areas of district participated.
During their two-day visit at Pune, the participants visited Symbiosis Institute of Management Sciences, Agriculture College and National Defence Academy.
The students also got an opportunity to interact with Retd Lieutenant General KT Parnaik, former Army Commander of Northern Command.
During interaction with the students, General Officer advised them to work hard and told them that a good education is the only key to prosperity and a better lifestyle. He also emphasized on the importance of sports.
