UDHAMPUR, Nov 15: A teenaged youth committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his house near CEO office Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Suraj Singh (18), son of Khushi Ram. He was found lying unconscious under mysterious circumstances in his home late last night. The family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where he died despite hectic efforts by the doctor to save his life.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while police has registered a case in this connection for investigation.
