JAMMU, July 18: A teenaged girl died today under mysterious circumstances in Channi Himmat area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Laxmi Devi, aged about 14-15 years, daughter of Sandeepan Sharma, resident of Vijaypur,” police sources said. They said the girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Surya Apartments, Channi Himmat (Jammu), where she was presently residing with her family.
The body of the girl was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem while inquest proceeding under 174 CrPC was initiated in this connection at police station Channi Himmat.
