Teacher’s house burgled in Kalakote

RAJOURI, July 24: Some unknown thieves barged into the house of  a Government  teacher  and decamped with some gold ornaments and cash in Kalakote area last night.
A police spokesman said that the incident took place in the house of Master Shamsher Singh at village Jigni,  under Kalakote Police jurisdiction.  The family was sleeping in the other room while the thieves broke opened the door and entered the house. The family was fast asleep and had kept desert cooler on.  Due to the noise of  cooler, the thieves took advantage, executed their burglary  and decamped with 10 Tola gold ornaments and Rs 65,000 cash from their Almirah.
The family came to know about the matter only in the morning. They informed police. The neighbours also rushed to their house after coming to know about the matter. The police examined the site of incident  and then started investigation. A case was registered in this connection.
