Teachers Guild for release of pending salary

JAMMU, Feb 18: Teachers Guild Jammu and Kashmir has decided  to file a PIL if the pending salaries of Rehbar-e-Taleem and other teachers under SSA, RMSA or other schemes, are not released within fifteen days.
Decision in this regard was taken during a meeting of the Guild, held today under the chairmanship of State president Nasir Ahmed Qureshi.
The meet demanded  immediate release of pending salary of regularized and un-regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers, 3rd Teachers, Education Volunteers, R-e-Ts appointed under Clear Vacancies, R-e-Ts appointed under KGBVs, Seasonal Teachers, Head Teachers under SSA, PG Teachers under RMSA and Contractual Teachers engaged under academic arrangement scheme.
The meet observed the injustice with R-e-Ts and  their families were also an open violation of Constitution, which gives the right to life and personal liberty under Article 21. The teaching  community has the legal right under Constitution to drag the authorities in the Court of law as they are deprived of from their right of livelihood, he said.
