JAMMU, Dec 21: Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has appealed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to personally intervene for release of pending salary of Teachers, Masters and ReTs, working under SSA, RMSA and NPS schemes.
The appeal was made during a general body meeting of the forum, held here today under the chairmanship of general secretary Ganesh Khajuria. The meet highlighted the plights of teachers, who are without salary for the last several months.
The meet also took a strong notice of the alleged delaying tactics of the State Government in issuing the DPC list of Masters of February 2014 and thus deliberately making them junior to their counterparts of Kashmir province. The forum also urged the Government to release promotion list of all the cadres in School Education Department.
The meeting was attended by Gopal Singh, Rajinder Gupta, Surat Singh Toofani, Yog Raj Slathia and others.
