Teachers Forum recalls ultimatum over its demands

JAMMU, Nov 27: Central body of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum today held a meeting under the chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria and expressed concern over alleged delay tactics of the School Education Department authorities to resolve the long pending burning issues of all the cadres of Education Department.
The Forum said that no action has been taken on the Memorandum submitted to the Principal Secretary of School Education Deptt through Director School Education, Jammu after a day- long protest demonstration on November 15.
The meet once again requested the Principal Secretary, Alok Kumar to personally intervene and resolve all the issues up to November 30, 2022 in order to avoid the confrontation otherwise the Teaching community would have no option other than to launch a decisive struggle for which the next course of action shall be chalked out in the meeting of the Central leadership of the Forum on December 1, 2022.
Those who attended the meeting, included S Surat Singh Toofani, Darshan Sharma, Gopal Singh, Kuldeep Singh Bandral, Kuldeep Verma, P D Singh, Gautam Singh, Mohd Ashraf , Pawan Sharma, Ashwani Raina, Gurmeet Singh, Surinder Kaith and Naseer Ahmad Mir.
