UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: In a meeting here today Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum discussed problems of teaching community.
The meeting was chaired by Surinder Sharma, Forum District President Udhampur where release of salary of the surplus lecturers/masters from the month of August 2018 was demanded.
The Forum also demanded release of arrear of seventh pay commission from April 2018 and salary for the last four months of masters working against the posts of head teachers.
Among other demands was the release of mid day meal liabilities.
The Forum leaders said that training programme for teachers should be avoided during January to March and must be scheduled during vacations only so that study of the students may not suffer.
Sanjay Sharma, Chaman Lal, Kewal Krishan and others were also present in the meeting.
