JAMMU, Nov 3: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today under the chairmanship of State general secretary Ganesh Khajuria, at Miran Sahib for discussing the present education scenario and burning issues of the teaching community.
The meet expressed strong resentment over the inordinate delay in release of salary grants of Master and teachers and under different schemes. Several demands, like promotions, adjustments etc were also highlighted.
During the meeting, the Forum also constituted an adhoc committee of tehsil R S Pura and nominated Roop Lal, Suraj Singh Toofani, Surinder Choudhary, Ravi Kaith, Pramodh Sharma, Subash Sharma, Kamal Sharma, Kuldeep Saini, Darshan Kumar, Bachan Lal, Girdhari Lal, Rajesh Mattoo, Vijay Kumar, Manjit Singh, Krishan Lal, Jeevan Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Arjun Dev, Jatinder Sharma, Murad Ali and Balraj Singh as its members.
