Jammu, Dec 17: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation has launched an awareness campaign against prevailing problems in the School Education Department.
Under the campaign, all schools of Jammu city as well as rural areas are being covered to apprise the teaching community of the alleged ill practices in the Education Department.
The Federation alleged non-transparency in the department over the issue of transfers, adjustments and other vital issues. Moral values and ethics in the Department have declined to such an extent that if some honest and dedicated people raise voice against the same, the bureaucrats at the helm of affairs immediately resort to suppressive measures.
The Federation members are distributing pamphlets in the schools to highlight various issues and urging the teaching community to join hands against prevailing evils in the Education Department.
