SAMBA, May 22: A meeting of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation, District Unit Samba, was held today at Vijaypur under the chairmanship of district president Dharminder Singh.
In the meeting, number of issues relating to teacher community was highlighted. These included release of pending SSA salary, promotion of Teachers to Masters, transparent transfer Policy and corruption free atmosphere at CEO office and its subordinate offices.
The Federation appealed to the higher authorities to look into these genuine demands of the teachers community and strictly adhere to transfer policy framed by the Government. Those who attended the meeting, included Talvinder Jeet Singh (Zonal president Ramgarh), Sushil Kumar(Zonal president Vijaypur), Vijay Kumar, Vikram Sinqh, Janak Sinqh, Des Raj, Bhajan Singh, Gopal Sharma and others.
