Teachers Federation for early redressal of demands

JAMMU, Feb 26: A meeting of working committee of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation (AJKLTF) was held under the chairmanship of Bhushan wherein they discussed the problems faced by the employees in the State.
Demanding the Government to redress their problems to improve work culture in all Department, the president and general secretary said that committe will facilitate the common masses. The meeting highlighted the demands of PHE Workers Welfare Association, Jammu who are on hunger strike for last 22 days.
The federation has also requested PHE Minister to make efforts to end the hunger strike.
The meeting also demanded to remove pay anomalies of different cadres i.e. clerks and masters, release of 3rd installment of 6th Pay Commission arrear, selection grade to under Graduate teachers, enchancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000.
Others who attended the meeting were Mohan Singh, Purshotam Sharma, Ravinder Verma, Kuldeep Singh, Gulzar Hussain, Narender Bakshi, Anar Singh, Madan Singh, Manmohan Singh, Jyoti Jamwal, Raj Rani, Aagya Lour, Kuldeep Raj, and Krishan Kumar.
