Teachers Association apprises DSEJ about demands

JAMMU, July 21: A deputation of JK State Teachers Association called on Director School Education, Jammu and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The deputation, under the leadership of Kulwant Singh, apprised the Director about grievances and demands of the teaching community. The Association alleged violation of transfer norms and demanded supply of books to students in beginning of the academic session, removal of pay anomaly in Master Grade, regularization of all Education Officers, release of quarterly salary grant instead of monthly grant for
Teachers, Masters working under RMSA, SSA to provide them regular salary, Selection grade to senior teachers, etc.
The Director gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured early redressal of the grievances of teaching community.
Those who comprised the deputation, included Aslam Khan, Ranjit Singh, Kulesh Kumar, Balbir Singh, Mulakh Raj Bhamagi, Tanvir Ahmed Shawl, Manohar Lal, Vijay Kumar, Mohinder Raina, Hardatt Sharma, Manzoor AIi, Rajesh Kotwal, Jagdev Singh ,Rashid Mohd, Munshi Sharma, Hamid and Sham Lal.
