UDHAMPUR, June 9: The accused Government teacher of Higher Secondary School Kathar Manwal, who is accused of molesting a girl student, was arrested today by the Police.
Earlier, locals of village Kathar Manwal held a massive protest and blocked the National Highway at Dhar Road. The road blockage led to disruption of traffic movement for some time. The protestors were demanding immediate suspension of the accused teacher and stern action against him.
As reported earlier, the accused teacher, identified as Vinay Sharma of Bhutyari, was allegedly trying to force the girl for developing physical relation with him for some time.
The case FIR under Section 354-a and 354-b was registered at Manwal Police Post in this connection.
