JAMMU, Nov 15: President, Thathri Development Front, Kuldeep Kumar Rao has appealed to Union Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad for his personal intervention in resolving the issue of Kahara-Jai road project.
He also requested Minister for R&B, Abdul Majid Wani to depute the engineers of reputed impartiality, integrity and honesty, who should visit the spot personally regarding deviation of Kahara-Jai road project and take logical and bonafide decision after consulting the local Panchayat representatives in the larger interest of the poor people.
Rao said with the tireless efforts of  Azad the project was sanctioned for Kahara- Jai road up to Joura (Ph-I) length 16 kms, amounting to Rs 2184 lakh and an amount of Rs 1660 had been utilized by the ending March 2012. But after the exit of Azad from the State politics, the original survey of 1987 which was upheld by ERA & also the initial survey of 2007 of first Phase by R&B Division Gandoh, was grossly violated by local Engineers by misleading their own higher officers just to benefit a few individuals.
