TCS selects 46 students during campus recruitment at SMVDU

JAMMU, Nov 9: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)–a leading Indian multinational information technology services, business solutions and consulting company visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University for campus recruitment of students who are passing out in May.
A pool of 298 students from across the State appeared in this joint campus drive.
National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar and Government College of Engineering and Technology  (GCET) participated in this campus exercise conducted by TCS recruitment team from Delhi.
All participating students passed through rigorous recruitment stages including an online test, technical and HR rounds of interviews.
Finally 25 students from SMVDU, 12 from GCET Jammu and 9 from NIT Srinagar were selected by the TCS.
Prof Sudhir K Jain, Vice Chancellor of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University congratulated students from all the participating institutions and wished them successful career in TCS.
BK Bhatia, Placement Officer, SMVDU said that the Navy is the next organization to visit SMVDU for campus selections under University Entry Scheme (UES) 2014 from November 20 to 22, 2013.
