JAMMU, Apr 25: Tarun Uppal, the Chairperson of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, has released a new video devotional song album titled “Choliya Pardi Ae”.
The album features a devotional song dedicated to Maa Bawe Wali, sung by Sunil Athwal, with lyrics and music composed by Rajan Athwal and Chandan Jassu respectively. The album was directed by K K Malhotra.
At the album release function held at the Press Club, Jammu, Mahant Rajesh Bittu was the Guest of Honour, and Brij Mohan, Nirbhay Salathia, and Sahil Mahajan were the Special Guests.
Tarun Uppal, the Chief Guest, commended the artists for their melodious composition that recognizes the divinity of Maa Bawe Wali. He congratulated the team for showcasing their talent and inspiring the youth to preserve traditional values and cultural heritage.
Uppal stressed the need to explore and hone the immense talent in Jammu and Kashmir by providing platforms for local artists.
He urged the encouragement of local artists who can preserve and promote the rich folk-lore of the region.
Uppal emphasized that the responsibility of preserving the rich heritage for the progeny lies on the shoulders of young generation artists, and it is our duty to keep encouraging them to pursue the mission with utmost enthusiasm.
Mahant Bittu expressed his appreciation for the young artists who have become job providers instead of job seekers in the singing, acting, and entertainment fields. He wished them success in their future endeavors and hoped that they would excel even more in the field.
