SRINAGAR, Nov 25: CPI (M) State Secretary and MLA Kulgam Mohammed Yousf Tarigami today appealed the displaced people to take part in election process enmass by filling up the M Forms.
In a statement issued here today, he said Pandits being the inseparable part of Kashmir should take full part in election process in the State by siding with the secular parties contesting the elections in Valley who are wedded to honourable and dignified of the Pandits to their homes and hearths and are of the firm belief that Kashmir was incomplete with them.
He said the Pandits are part of Kashmiri ethos and they have played a great role in nurturing secular values of the State right from centuries together and hence there is an added responsibility on their shoulders to defeat the designs of those agencies who are hell bent to eliminate the secular forces in the Valley.
Tarigami while recalling his role said he always championed for the cause of community while it was the passage of Shrines Bill or highlighting their day to day issues which they were facing due to mass exodus from Valley over tow decades back.
Maintaining that situation in J&K is quite different from the rest of the country he said strengthening of secular forces is duty of every Kashmiri.
