REASI, Mar 5: Tanya Pandoh, Councillor of Ward number 5 in Reasi town, was today appointed as president of Hindu Ashram Reasi. She is the first woman to lead this religious body of district Reasi.
The appointment was made unanimously during a meeting of the Hindu Ashram Reasi, held here today under the chairmanship of Suresh Puri, Chairman MC Reasi and Sanjeev Khajuria.
Bishan Magotra, Vivek Anand, Nishant Sharma, Ashok and Munish were appointed as vice presidents while Narendra Sharma was nominated as general secretary cum cashier and Raj Kumar as secretary. Brij Mohan and Mohinder Sharma were nominated to the executive committee.
