RAMBAN, June 2: An oil tanker hit a passenger bus coming from the opposite direction in Dalwass area of Chanderkote on Jammu Srinagar National Highway here today leaving 12 persons onboard the bus injured.
Police sources said that the oil tanker bearing registration number JK01AJ-0039 en-route Srinagar collided with a bus bearing registration Number JK02DG-7822 coming from opposite direction in Dalwass area.
All the injured were shifted to the nearby CHC Chenani for treatment.
CHC Chenani authorities informed that 10 persons got minor injuries and were discharged after providing medical aid.
They said that two ladies—Sushma Sharma and Kamlesh Devi sustained grievous injuries and were admitted at CHC Chenani for treatment.
Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of law at Police Station Chanderkote and started investigation.
