Talib Hussain attempts suicide in lock up

SAMBA, Aug 6: Talib Hussian who was recently arrested by Samba Police in connection with rape case under Section 376 RPC,4/25 Arms Act and is in lock up at Police Station Samba made a bid to commit suicide by hitting his head with the walls in the lock up today.
According to SHO Samba, Chanchal Singh, Hussain was immediately shifted to District Hospital Samba and after treatment he was discharged from the Hospital.
The SHO said by hitting his forehead against the wall of the lock up he has committed offence under Section 309 RPC and a case FIR No 215/2018 under Section 309 RPC has been registered against him at Police Station Samba.
It may be recalled that one of the relatives of Talib Hussain had made a complaint with Samba Police that he had attempted rape on her in the forests when she was grazing the cattle last month. In her complaint the lady had also alleged that he threatened to eliminate her by putting the toka  (a sharp edged weapon) on her neck in case he tried to narrate the incident to any of her family members.
Earlier Talib tried to create disturbance in Hiranagar area to give communal colour to much publicized Rassana murder and kidnapping case thereby disturb peace in the area.
