Take it on in the Army way

The whole world has been hit by the unexpected pandemic and reeling under the continuous disastrous effects of an unpredicted invisible enemy, the Corona virus. Very obvious cause of this pandemic is imbalancing of the nature by the humans. The man has been continuously playing with the nature to meet selfish ends and destroying natural resources which have come from the Almighty as a blessings for all living beings to lead a healthy life on the planet. The burning of the forests, massive cutting of trees, narrowing or totally stopping of the free flowing streams thereby leaving no space for water to flow and creating of bad sanitary conditions with no or very less civic sense are the main causes of the disastrous situation we are passing through. From the primitive to the present age, humans have learnt very less from the nature and have become main agent to spread air and the water pollution and have to bear the brunt of nature in the form of such pandemic. The present sudden spurt of so called second wave is comparatively proving more disastrous for our nation is due to low priority set by the Government to deal with the ongoing situation and instead shifted the focus onto the political activities and avoidable mass social gatherings.
The general public also failed to realize that foe was still lurking within and flouted all safety norms. Now since we have landed up in an extreme situation, the Government must take in on in the Army way and accept that a war like situation has emerged out of the pandemic and a huge loss of lives occurring due to no firm strategy to deal with it. Till the battle is won, there is a need to put a total stop on all other ongoing exempted activities and projects covered under essential services and we must shift ourwhole focus at the national level to defeat the deadly virus. All resources of the country be fielded to win the war against the pandemic. Existing health infrastructure has been build up to deal with the normal time ailments so there is a need to work on the war footing to create additional health facilities specific to the requirement. Today there is a need to save thousands of precious human lives and full focus has to be on creating befitting health infrastructure to defeat the invisible enemy. We will head towards a winning position if we utilize our existing resources and convert them into life saving centers . The existing assets like Hotels, Institutions, Colleges, Schools and other available buildings wherever possible should be converted into the make- shift hospitals well equipped and provided with oxygen inhaling facility. All intern doctors, nurses and paramedical staff at the verge of passing out from the training institutions be declared qualified and given a crash course training on treating of the COVID patients and employed in the make shift hospitals to save the precious lives. All doctors, nurses and paramedical staff be given all those facilities and benefits as given to a soldier who makes supreme sacrifice in an operation against the adversary.
This will be a great motivation and moral boosting factor to achieve success fighting bravely as a warrior to come out victorious. To maintain the regional balance, each district in the country must be enabled to treat minimum 500 patients in the specially established make shift hospitals and beside local administration, local self Governments at each level should be made responsible for mass awareness to follow the safety guidelines and ensuring that everyone is vaccinated as per national plan of vaccination. We will definitely achieve normalcy if there is a strong will power on the part of the Government and the people at large. Since we, the humans are responsible for such a disastrous pandemic situation, this is the high time we realize the wake up call given by the nature and start working for an healthy environment to flourish.
The human vision has to go beyond controlling the present situation and a long term plan has to be worked out to obviate any such pandemic in future. In the Indian perspective, again taking it on in the Army way, a well disciplined elite organization where every individual endeavors to contribute towards creating a healthy and clean environment will be the best example to be followed by every citizen. The plantation derives are launched at regular intervals and responsibilities are assigned down to individual level to ensure growth of the planted trees. A lot of hard work is put to ensure cleanliness of the cantonment through round the clock commitment of each individual. A well planned mechanism has to be evolved to save the nature. Well coordinated, concerted and consistent efforts will yield the desired results. The organizations and institutions have to work with a missionary zeal.
Governments at the centre, states and the local Self Governments have to work together to restore the lost glory of the nature and launch genuine plantation and cleanliness drives and fulfill their responsibilities to nurture, guard and ensure full-fledged growth of the planted trees. The trees must be treated as life saving natural resources and protected as such under law and each citizen must be legally bound to plant and nurture trees to enable them to reap the benefits of the existing Government Citizens welfare schemes. In a country like ours more than one billion trees will be planted if every citizen plants even a single tree. The developmental projects should be so planned as to avoid any damage even to a single tree as far as possible. The burning of forests must be checked at any cost and a genuine and realistic mechanism has to be put in place to save the nature vis a vis to ensure that a healthy and prosperous life prevails on mother earth.
