BONIYAR (URI), Aug 27: Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Taj Mohi-ud-Din today exhorted upon youth to become messengers of peace and play their role in integrating people and communities.
Inaugurating a weeklong National Integration Camp at Jawahar Navodya Vidayala, Shahkoot today, the Minister asked youth to play their critical role in spreading message of peace and harmony among their respective societies.
Mr. Taj asked the participating youth to observe the situation in Kashmir themselves and report it back to their areas accordingly rather than falling prey to some out of context media portrayals in their States. He said youth are the future of a nation and they should rise to shoulder their responsibilities.
The camp is being attended by about 150 youth from States of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and J&K. The camp is organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra in collaboration with Baramulla district administration. Eminent scholars and public personalities are expected to deliver lectures to these youth during the camp.
Director General, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Salim Ahmad and officers of Baramulla district administration were present on the occasion.
