SRINAGAR, Apr 21: Pradesh Congress Committee president GA Mir has appointed senior Congress leader and former minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din as observer for Anantnag Assembly constituency which is going to polls shortly.
The decision has been taken by the PCC president in view of the by-polls announced very recently by Election Commission of India for the segment (Anantnag).
While kick starting the poll campaign Taj Mohi-ud-Din will hold interaction with prominent workers and leaders of the district on Saturday April 23 at Khanabal, a party spokesman said.
