UDHAMPUR, Feb 6: In an apparent case of suicide, a tailor was found hanging from ceiling fan hook at his rental house in Housing Colony Udhampur, here today.
According to the police report, Arif (46), son of Islam Ansari, resident of Pelawal Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, was found hanging inside his rental room under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the locals, a Police team from PS Udhampur reached the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
A case has been registered in this connection for further investigation.
