JAMMU, Jan 10: The Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing J&K organized a symposium / Essay Writing and Painting Competition on the topic role of birds in Forest Ecology at Balgran.
About 300 students along with the faculty members participated in the programme. The mementoes and trophies were awarded to winners along with appreciation certificates from the Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing on the occasion.
In addition a cultural event /skit depicting the role of birds in forest ecology was also organized by the School Management. The event was organized by Kuldeep Kumar , DFO Environment , along with Majid Farooq, Scientific Assistant and staff of the Directorate.
