JAMMU, Dec 14: World’s largest air cooler company, Symphony Limited introduced new models of air coolers to its existing offering to strengthen its product range in the residential air cooler market and built on its leadership position.
The company unveiled four new models to the trade including Siesta 70, Ice-Cube XL, Window 70 XL and Window 41 XL and held dealers-get-to-get-together across cities in India.
The four new models come with advanced features like Dura Pump Technology, in-built float valve for automatic water refill, specially designed exhaust fan for a greater and fresher air throw and much more.
The new coolers will also work on inverter and have all-weather composite plastic made of specially engineered corrosion, heat and UV resistant polymers which can withstand harsh weather conditions.
“We will showcase the new offering to our business partners across India and have their valuable feedback. India is a traditional air cooler market with a huge unorganised segment and through launch of new models, we plan to achieve tremendous incremental growth in the near future,” said S Varma, GM Sales (North), Symphony Limited.
“Air cooler market in India is estimated to be around Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 crore and growing at 15 to 20 per cent per annum. Symphony Limited is largest player in the Indian air cooler industry with 50% market share among the organised players”, he added.
Symphony Limited has a strong dealer network base of over 15,000 and more than 750 distributors covering 4000 plus cities and town across India. Company’s products are also available in modern retail chains, like Reliance Retail, Croma, Big Bazaar, Spencers, Vijay Sales, Bharti Wal-Mart, Carrefour, Hyper City, Star Bazaar and many other leading retail chains. Company’s products are also sold through leading e-commerce portals including Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon etc, he said, adding that Company’s sales through TV shows like Star CJ and Home Shop too have met with great success.
Globally, company’s products have been endorsed by a number of corporate giants, namely General Electric (Illinois, USA), Wal-Mart Stores (Nevada, USA), Lear Corporation (USA), Jamarat Complex (Saudi Arabia), Carrefour (Indonesia) and more than 100 supermarkets in Mexico, Varma informed.
