Syed Baqir inaugurates Computer Lab in LBM School

JAMMU : Vice Chairman J&K Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Syed Mohammad Baqir Razvi today inaugurated Computer Lab at Louis Braille Memorial (LBM) Residential School for visually impaired Girls at Roop Nagar here.

Congratulating the students and teachers of the school for getting first of its kind facility in the school, Syed Baqir appreciated the efforts of social activists for providing computers for the benefit of the students. He said the provision of computers would provide an opportunity to the visually impaired students of the school to get acquainted with the knowledge of computers which is important in contemporary world.

Vice Chairman said the government is keen to provide better infrastructure in educational institutions particularly for the differently-abled students so that they could also get opportunities at par with the others.

Stressing on the students to learn and take computer subject seriously, Syed Baqir said that this would enable them to keep themselves abreast with the computer science and latest technology which has been dominating all spheres of life.

Responding to the demands, the Vice-Chairman said that he would extend every possible help for raising infrastructure in the school.

It is worthwhile to mention here that the computers were donated by a social activist Nitin Jamwal.
