LEH, July 9: Swiss Ambassador to India, Dr Linus Von Castelmur today called on the Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Simrandeep Singh in his office.
The Ambassador is on personal visit to J&K. The DC gave a brief overview about Leh and the working of the LAHDC. The DC apprised him about the various development initiatives taken by the Government.
The Ambassador expressed satisfaction at the development of the region and commended the effort of the civil administration and other agencies for working in such difficult terrains.
