JAMMU, Nov 27: Master Sohan Lal Socialist Reforms and Charitable Trust distributed woolen sweaters among children studying at Bal Niketan, Ved Mandir here today.
In a simple but impressive function, over 100 sweaters were distributed among the children.
Dinesh Gupta, Chairman Jammu Citizen Cooperation Bank was the chief guest, who announced a cash assistance for the welfare of Bal Niketan children.
170 sweaters were distributed on the occasion.
Shakti Dutt Sharma, Chairman, Master Sohal Lal Socialist Reforms and Charitable Trust said that these children have lost their parents in militancy and need more care, adding that initiative of the Trust is a small contribution in this regard.
Dinesh Gupta, Chairman, Jammu Citizen Cooperative Bank while speaking on the occasion said parents are precious jewels for children and with their devotion and hardwork, children settle their future.
He also announced cash assistance of Rs 5100 for the welfare of Bal Niketan chidren. On this occasion, Trust members Mahant Rohit Shastri, Sunil Dutt Sharma, Rashpal Singh, Kuldip Gupta and staff of Bal Niketan were present.
