JAMMU, Aug 7: An awareness camp was organised at Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission Hospital, Ambphalla , Jammu today under the Chairmanship of Dr. Arvind Kohli, to commemorate Vascular Day. The Camp was organized in collaboration with Atulaya Healthcare Diagnostic Centre and Johnson and Johnson.
It has been noticed that there has been a rapid increase of Vascular disease in Jammu region for the last few years and through this forum, the public was made aware formally regarding early diagnosis and prevention of Vascular ailments in order to prevent the loss of life or limb said camp co-ordinator Dr. Arvind Kohli .
More than 40 patients availed the facility of Diagnosis and investigation of the vascular problem under the able guidance of eminent vascular surgeons viz- Dr. Gurjit Singh and Dr. Arvind Kohli who examined, familiarised and advised the patients about various factors responsible for these diseases and prevention thereof.
The Management and staff of Vivekananda Hospital actively participated in the camp along with their counterparts from Atulaya Healthcare Centre, Bakshi Nagar Jammu.
