HARIDWAR, Apr 6: Yog Guru Swami Ramdev here today celebrated completion of his 31 years of Sanyas.
A procession was taken out on this occasion in which Swami Ramdev along with other saints, Acharya Balkrishan, Yogacharya of Divya Yog Mandir Rammulkh Darbar, Swami Lal Ji and others participated.
The procession reached the bank of Ganga where six male scholars along with a lady scholar took Diksha of remaining celibate throughout their lives.
On this occasion, Swami Ramdev also performed Kanya Pujan by washing the feet of little girls and offering them eatables.
He extended Ramnavmi greetings to all the citizens of the country and said that all of us should establish the qualities of Lord Rama in ourselves.
Ramdev also said that pious Navratras are integral part of rich culture of India.
The Yog Guru said that Sanyas has the only duty of service and working for the welfare of the nation.
Acharya Balkrishan garlanded Swami Ramdev at Patanjali Wellness Centre auditorium and the celebrations were done as per Vedic rituals.
Swami Ramdev also said that Patanjali Yogpeeth was carrying ahead the cultural journey and other welfare measures in the country for the welfare of humanity.
