JAMMU, Apr 5: The Navratra festival organized by Swami Paul’s Meditation Home Jammu concluded with ‘Purnahuti’ of Maha Gayatri Yagna on Maha Navmi today.
During the festival of nine days, apart from Gayatri Yagnas, the Dhyan sessions with Kirtan and devotional singing and discourses by the spiritual head of the Meditation Home Swami Paul Ji were organized.
Through his discourses Swami Ji discussed various aspects of spirituality. He explained that the true religion consists in the thorough spiritualization and universalisation of outlook on life and the world. It consists in the realization of the essential divinity of man and the universe and regulation of thoughts and feelings and actions. God is eternally manifesting. He is the soul of the universe and He is revealing Himself in all the existences of the universe.
He is the soul is every human body and in every living creature. We are all in Rama, and Rama is in all of us. We are all united in Him and this is the true unity. All our differences are non-essential and only apparent and they are due to His playful self-revelations in diverse forms. The practice of true religion consists in the intensive cultivation of spiritual outlook, in the earnest attempt to see God within the self and in all the existences of the universe, to see His play in all phenomena, to love and serve and worship Him in all His self-revelations.
Swami Ji emphasized on the awakening of a dynamic God-consciousness in the minds of the people in general and particularly in the minds of the leaders and rulers of the people, no reign of love can be firmly established in the human society, and without it there can be no real peace and no real equality and fraternity among and diverse sections of mankind, no cessation of the cold and hot warfare and no cessation of violent and non-violent attempts for mutual explorations and oppression. Liberty, Justice, Unity, Equality, Fraternity etc would ever remain empty slogans or war-cries of clever interested cliques in the absence of awakening of the people, where love is dominated by hatred and malice, envy and rivalry and hostility.
