Swami Kumar Ji for protection of Hindu Shrines in Valley

JAMMU, July 30: Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsangh Ashram Muthi who along with his devotees visited various religious shrines and temples of Kashmir has urged the Government as well as the community members to take steps for renovation and protection of the Hindu religious places in Valley.
Swami Ji visited the Gosani Gund Ashram, Nagbal Shrine Anantnag, Tirath Raj Lok Bhawan, Swami Mirza Kak Asthapan, Hangalgund, Tirath Raj Mattan, Swami Jeevan Sahib Samadhi Ladhoo, Jawala Ji Shrine Khrew expressed his dismay over the condition of Gosani Gund Ashram where some Samadhis have been damaged. He demanded that the Ashram be given a CRPF protection and immediate steps be taken to renovate it.
He paid obeisance at these shrines and stressed on their upkeep. Swami Ji made appeal to the respective management committees of these shrines to take responsibility of renovating these temples and shrines which are in bad condition. At Jawala Ji and Jeewan Sahib shrine he was accompanied by Ravi Ji Bhat a social activist.
He said during the 28 year long turmoil the religious places of Hindus have suffered a heavy damage and community should now take steps in renovating them to their pristine glory.
